What We Build
Shower Remodels Built for Your Bathroom
Whether you're replacing a leaking fiberglass insert or turning an unused tub into a walk-in shower, we plan the layout, materials, and budget with you before anything gets torn out.
Remove the tub you never use and replace it with a roomy walk-in shower — one of the most popular updates in Denton County homes.
Custom tile walls and floors, niches, benches, and accent bands — laid out so cuts are clean and grout lines run straight.
Tear-out of dated tile or fiberglass surrounds, a new tub if needed, and floor-to-ceiling tile — with any damaged framing or subfloor repaired first.
Low or curbless entries, grab-bar blocking, and built-in seating for safer everyday use and aging in place.
Glass doors and panels, rain heads, handheld sprayers, and valve upgrades to finish the space the way you want it.

Before & After
Recent Shower Remodels in Denton County
Real projects, photographed by us. Every one was priced flat and upfront, and Ray was on-site from demo to final walkthrough.
The original shower was a narrow, dark mosaic-tile stall with a sliding track door. We tore it out completely and rebuilt it as an open walk-in shower with a tiled half wall and a full glass enclosure.
Gray subway-style wall tile, a white penny-tile floor sloped to a center drain, a handheld shower on a slide bar, and a clean white curb finish it off — all while matching the home's existing slate floor.
Dated beige tile came out and the surround was rebuilt with large-format gray tile, a glass mosaic accent band, and a recessed shower niche framed in black trim.
Matte black fixtures tie it to the rest of the bathroom update, including new floor tile, a new vanity, and fresh paint.
A stained, worn-out fiberglass tub surround was removed along with the old tub. A new tub went in, and the walls were tiled to the ceiling in a marble-look plank tile with a black accent stripe.
Going full height makes a small bathroom feel taller, and tile won't stain or yellow the way fiberglass does.
Done Right Behind the Tile
Why Most Shower Problems Start Where You Can't See
A shower can look perfect on day one and still be failing inside the wall. Cracked grout, soft spots, musty smells, and stains on the ceiling below usually trace back to shortcuts in waterproofing, slope, or backer board. That's the work we never rush.
- Full waterproofing membrane behind tile walls and under the pan
- Pan sloped correctly to the drain so water never sits
- Cement or foam backer board — never drywall in a wet area
- Rotted framing or subfloor repaired before anything gets covered
- Licensed plumbers for valve and drain work, with Ray on-site overseeing
- Clean, protected work area and a full cleanup at the end
How It Works
Our Shower Remodel Process
Ray visits your home, looks at the existing shower and plumbing, and talks through layout, tile, and glass options.
You get one clear number before work begins. No hourly billing and no surprise add-ons.
We remove the old shower, protect the rest of the bathroom, and check the framing and subfloor. If we find hidden damage, you hear about it before we fix it.
Plumbing, backer board, sloped pan, and waterproofing go in — the parts that determine whether your shower lasts.
Tile, grout, fixtures, and glass are installed, then we walk the finished shower with you and clean up completely.
Common Questions
Shower Remodeling FAQs
How long does a shower remodel take?
Most shower remodels take one to two weeks, depending on the size, tile choice, and whether glass needs to be custom-measured after tile is set. You'll get a schedule with your estimate.
Can you convert my bathtub into a walk-in shower?
Yes. Tub-to-shower conversions are one of our most common projects. We remove the tub, adjust the drain and valve as needed, and build a fully waterproofed walk-in shower in the same space.
How much does a shower remodel cost in Denton, TX?
Cost depends on size, tile, glass, and plumbing changes. We give every client a flat, upfront price after a free walkthrough, so you know the full number before any work starts.
Do you use subcontractors?
For specialty trades like plumbing or custom glass, we bring in insured professionals. Ray is on-site overseeing their work every time — you're never handed off after the estimate.
Can I still use my bathroom during the remodel?
If you have another bathroom, most families use it during the project. We keep the work area sealed and cleaned up daily so the rest of your home stays livable.
What areas do you serve?
We remodel showers throughout Denton County, including Denton, Flower Mound, Highland Village, Lewisville, Corinth, Argyle, Lantana, Little Elm, Lake Dallas, Hickory Creek, Justin, Krum, and Aubrey.
